  1. Not for me thanks https://youtu.be/3VD08b043sc?si=-xL7c28eo_apgA4l
  2. Never mind mate another couple of months and it will be hot X bun time and Easter eggs 😄
  3. Hmm I reckon you must of opened your wallet with your recent car bills 🤣
  4. You probably find if the F1Autoshysters are charging full price for an aircon regas then you wouldn't of had a leak. Fingers crossed local guy can sort it and regas, just before it pisses it down and winter rolls in 😄
  5. So does it finally have a valid mot for next 12 months? Did you give them a serve of your pent up anger ?
  6. Do you still have access to that manager email or phone number? Give them a serve and tell them it's unacceptable, and no fault of yours. They are showing several branches nearby. Get them to agree you can go to one of those for a retest or full test at no cost to yourself.
  7. Don't think so without paying full fee again and running the risk of them finding something the other mob didn't! A bar steward of a situation you are in. https://www.reddit.com/r/AskUK/s/h7Bxcfrg7h
  8. Best of luck mate, let us know how you get on 🤞
  9. Told you I would raise a formal complaint then go via ombudsman. Otherwise you have NO control over Your own money, the bank and their cohorts decide! If you go down this route then you will have a conclusion based on banking code and not something the Halifax flick your was as being gospel
  10. You can refer to the financial ombudsman it's free and will cause the Halifax some grief. I would mention this in your complaint that you will push it further for an independent review https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/fight-back-fos/
  11. Doesn't sound correct to me. The account was being paid against a card number and not DD. Therefore the insurance should of been canned when they tried to use the old card details. I thought the whole point of if your debit card is compromised and the bank issue you with a new one then all transactions against those card details are nul and void. It's then up to you to reinstate any recurring payments with the new card details. Sound bollox the bank can just pick and choose who they reinstate without the customers knowledge. If you are dealing with Halifax customer care, I would just challenge the transactions in your online Halifax app and push it further raising a customer complaint. So the Halifax have the rights to re-instate a recurring £50 transaction to the Philipines for some shit you never agreed to as your card was scammed! You get my drift..
  12. Isn't that the point? You only wanted and expected what you paid for. Just tip them off with your version of events and let them decide if they are sending in a secret boozer to run the same scenario, or they just check what they are selling is legit and not watered down anti freeze 🤔
  13. Report them to trading standards Trading Standards: If the bar refuses a top-up or you are uncomfortable, report the issue to your local Trading Standards office. They are responsible for enforcing weights and measures regulations.
  14. C'mon Goldie you are from Wigan! Some of the best pies in the world can be bought from your area. Can't believe you don't have a few lying around when you get the munchies. For me a few cheese and ham toasties fill the gap, with a bag of crisps🤣 less chance of setting fire to the place. Yep a few pizzas or garlic bread from the freezer will also feed the munchies. Each to their own but as you say, take away food is very expensive piss poor quality and smaller portions these days. You also run the risk of a Defcon 5 sprint to the toilet the next day 💩
  15. That's that sorted https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cvg7pqzk47zo
